Dove Valley Park, Foston

Futaba Manufacturing, GXO Logistics, JCB Power Systems, MEG Derby, TopHat Industries and Truma already have operations at Dove Valley Park in South Derbyshire, which is an ideal location for manufacturing businesses. The site is located in one of the country’s most important manufacturing areas with Alstom, Nestlé, Rolls-Royce and Toyota within easy reach.

Description

Dove Valley Park is a major 200 acre industrial/distribution development on a former airfield site to the South-West of Derby. The Park is a masterplanned scheme with on-site infrastructure and all mains services installed, able to accommodate businesses requiring 24/7 working and secure plots. Dove Valley Park is located on the junction of a high-grade dual carriageway – the toll-free A50 East-West link. This important trunk road runs from Junction 24/24a of the M1 to the A500 serving Junctions 15 and 16 of the M6, and opening up access to the nation’s motorway system. Major seaports and airports along with 48 million people are within a 4-hour drive time.

Dove Valley Park offers an excellent base from which to recruit a wide range of skilled and unskilled labour. Derby, Burton, Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham are all within a short distance. Existing beneficiaries of this workforce include Futaba Manufacturing which produces parts for Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover, and Truma UK which distributes products to the leisure industry. A speculatively constructed 118,000 sqft unit was quickly let to TopHat Industries for the manufacture of modular homes. More recently, MEG Derby have constructed a bottling plant to serve Lidl supermarkets.

Investment Opportunities

Following the success of Phase 1, a further allocation of 28.3 Hectares was added to Dove Valley Park for large scale business and industrial units. The site offers high specification premises ranging from 24,000 to 130,000 sqft with fast track construction solutions.
